Lucas Sweitzer

Associate Director of Communications & Administration

Lucas has been on LSC staff since 2018, and wears a few different hats around the office, working on church communication, service production, and office admin. Lucas is an avid film fan, and when he’s not in the office, he’s almost certainly found at a 35mm screening at Music Box or the Gene Siskel.

Where do you live and with who? 

I live close to LaSalle in the Near North Side, along with all eight of my darling children (plants). 

Favorite Drink? 

A cool cup of still water served in a Tervis tumbler. 

Favorite Ways to Recharge? 

Strolling along the Lakefront, going to the movies, rewatching a Seinfeld episode for the umpteenth time, badly harmonizing to showtunes in the safety of my apartment.

What are you enjoying lately about your role at LaSalle?

I love getting to jam out during the band rehearsals before service on Sunday!
