Rev. Alicia Vela Anderson

Associate Pastor of Formation

Rev. Alicia has been in ministry for 20 years working primarily with kids, youth, and families in various church settings around the midwest. During the pandemic she took a brief hiatus from church ministry to teach 7th grade Bible and lead the discipleship endeavors at a small Christian school in Minneapolis. She's passionate about leadership development, walking alongside those who are reconsidering church, helping kids and youth discover their voices and gifts to impact the world. She's also a writer, speaker, and pop culture enthusiast. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and a Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary.

What are you enjoying lately about your role at LaSalle: Right now I'm loving when our staff team is all in the office, being in the classroom with the kids and youth, and getting to know our congregation in new ways.
