The LaSalle Senior Center responds to the spiritual, physical, emotional and relational needs of older adults living in Chicago's Near North Community. LaSalle Senior Center serves over 200 older adults living in subsidized housing within a few blocks of the church. We provide meals, transportation, outings, home visitors, classes, special events, volunteer opportunities and real help in a neighborly and professional manner.
- You can be part of this ministry by:
- Serving Wednesday fellowship lunch and Sunday breakfast
- Making monthly visits to our older friends at home
- Volunteering clerical help in the office
- Sharing your skills by teaching a class
- Planning a special one time event for the seniors
